Curriculum Vitae: 

Quentin has designed and executed an experiment documenting how opening a tidal inlet influenced juvenile nekton densities and species composition. He has worked closely with the Coastal Conservation Association and developed numerous media outlets to increase public knowledge and involvement with the project. He has extensive experience with estuarine sampling techniques (epibenthic sleds, otter trawls, seines, etc.) and estuarine dependent species identification. In addition, Quentin has designed and installed an acoustic receiver array to track red drum movements and is trained in surgical implantation of acoustic transmitters. He also has experience with Before-After-Control-Impact (BACI) experimental designs (see thesis).

Quentin also has experience with: deepwater sampling techniques (vertical longlines, fish traps, etc.), reef fish identification, otolith collection, preparation, and aging, collection of data on gonad development, stomach content, and genetics, and satellite telemetry of reef and pelagic species such as Dorado and numerous shark species including the Shortfin Mako, Tiger, and Bull Shark.
